Salty Samurai Studios' own cinematographer, Sheldon Steere, along with Director / Producer Stephanie Emerson, and actors Kimberly Pace and Matt Arakaki worked together to film a commercial for local cupcake maker Cups and Cakes Bakery. The commercial was filmed like an old school drug PSA, however instead of drug contraband, the contraband ends up being the delicious cupcake. It should be completed as soon as the motion graphics and color correction are completed. Look for it soon on YouTube and the Cups and Cakes Bakery website.

Submitted the 5 minute edit to IFC Media Lab Studios' sketch comedy challenge. The winning video from this contest gets aired on IFC as well as the winners get to meet the actual guys from Monty Python!!! Wish us luck!
Also, come September 8th, once the submission window opens, we are going to submit our video to the Rooftop Comedy's National College Funnyfilm Competition. Wish us luck in this one as well, as the prize includes a paid vacation to Aspen, and national exposure in the video competition.
